 CLASSES 

 A private session is a great way to introduce yourself to Pilates. Pilates is focused on posture and alignment and often it may only be a small movement between doing an exercise right (and therefore effectively) or incorrectly and risking injury.

​

The most obvious benefit of having a private Pilate’s Session is that you have the instructor’s undivided attention meaning better technique in the Pilates method, better execution of exercises, better proprioception (body awareness) and faster progression and results.

​

My home studio in Horsham (West Sussex) has a springboard and a reformer!

BARRE FUSION CLASS

Barre classes are hybrid workouts - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Your heart rate will increase making your BARRE fusion class a low impact cardio!

 

You will only need a chair to use as a ballet barre and a mat!! 

 

The workout is based of classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre classes also focuses on high reps of small range movements.

Guide for your Zoom (online) classes:

​

  1. Download the Zoom App. Before the class starts you will have to download Zoom, it's free and you will only have to do this once.  https://zoom.us/download#client_4meeting

  2. Open the Zoom meeting invitation in your mailbox. You'll receive an email invitation with a link between 45 and 90min before the class starts. Find and click the invitation email in your mailbox.

  3. Click the invitation link in the email. If you have already downloaded Zoom to your computer, this will automatically connect you to the meeting.

  4. Click the green Join Audio Conference by Computer button. This button should automatically appear once you join the meeting. It will connect you to the meeting with your microphone.

  5. Click the Start Video button on the bottom-left. This button looks like a video camera icon in the lower-left corner of the meeting window. It will allow the other participants to view your computer's camera.

  6. Wait for the class to start. I’ll be in the virtual class (Meeting) about 10-15min prior the class starts, so if you are not sure how it works or if it will work try to log in in advance so we can make sure all works fine.

REFORMER CLASS

 These classes offer a full body workout with a number of different postures and positions, keeping the heart rate high. Each class will build a strong pilates foundation that will increase core strength, muscular definition, functional mobility and flexibility.

Not suitable for beginners, pregnancy or clients with prior injuries and you must have a Pilates Reformer at home!

 MAT CLASS

Toning, flexibility, better posture, more efficient movement, the body/mind connection—just about every benefit the Pilates method has to offer can be achieved through mat work.

​

A Pilates mat workout is an exceptionally good workout that will provide the foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits, not to mention, of course, that Pilates mat work is the ultimate in core workouts!!!
